Pine first LI vendor to release support for CBIS specification
Tuesday 10 July 2007
On June 11th, Cablelabs released the Cable Broadband Intercept Specification (CBIS). Pine is the first lawful interception vendor that fully supports this specification.
The CBIS specification allows a broadband provider to deliver intercepted IP traffic in full or limited ("summary") format to the US law enforcement agencies. The CBIS specification is supported from EVE version 3.2 on.
Together with the already existing support for ATIS T1.678 version 2 (for handover of VOIP traffic), CBIS completes the US standards compliance of Pine's EVE lawful interception product. EVE supports all known industry standard IP handover specifications, and is already used for more than 6 years at various ISPs and telcos around the globe.
